BIOPROGEM Program R & D 2024 objective is to support producers and businesses in the development of new projects, products or services. We are aware that  research and development is not always within the reach of people who really need it and with this program people participate to win a month of work with BIOPROGEM at no cost.

 

For a month BIOPROGEM will work with each of the winners to develop a new product, project or system to increase the competitiveness of companies in current markets.

Full Program Description

R&D Program 2024

 

BIOPROGEM is pleased to announce the R&D Program 20244. This contest is designed to give companies the opportunity to receive research and project development services. This program seeks to benefit companies through the research and development of projects that have a positive impact on their daily operations. We invite participants from areas such as livestock, agronomy, food and beverage industry to submit their proposals.

 

Objective: Promote science, technology and R&D in companies whose operations are related to sectors such as agriculture, livestock, food and beverages no matter the size of their business.

 

Participants: 

Eligibility: People and companies interested in participating in the R&D area.

  • Agriculture

  • Fermentation processes (such as wineries, breweries, distilleries, etc)

 

Registration Requirements:Complete the online registration form.

 

Prizes:The selected winners will receive 1 month of BIOPROGEM services for free, for the development and research of a product, processes or services that helps the business either for its internal operations or for commercialization with third parties.

 

Important Dates:

  • Program opening: November 29, 2024
  • Registration deadline: December 20, 2024
  • Proposal evaluation: December 21 and 23, 2024
  • Announcement of winners: December 25, 2024
  • Project initiation: January 3, 2025

 

Selection Process: 

Proposals will be evaluated by the BIOPROGEM team taking into account the information present in the application form.

Important information:

 

  • The selected winners agree to provide the information necessary for the development of the product or service.
  • The selected winners will allow the BIOPROGEM team to capture and/or request images or videos of their business/company as well as the development of the product or service for advertising purposes.
  • The selected winners agree to provide a maximum of 1.5 hours per day for communication with the BIOPROGEM team in order to gather information for the development of the project.
  • The materials, tests or specific studies for the development of the project will be paid for/covered by the selected winners.
  • The shipments of materials related to and required for the development of the project will be paid for/covered by the selected winner.
  • The selected winners will have access to research and development services for FREE, only for the project defined between the participant's teams and BIOPROGEM, which will be developed during the period of 1 month (30 days in total).
  • The work period will begin once the date of the initial interview has been defined. Once the period has ended, the BIOPROGEM team will deliver the work progress achieved to date, concluding the free collaboration between BIOPROGEM and the selected companies.
  • Depending on the complexity of the project and resources the winners may receive different results after the month working with BIOPROGEM, the results and deliverables will be determined during the presentation of the project plan.

How long does the project development take?

 

BIOPROGEM will work with each winning company for one month (30 days), which will begin once the Initial Interview has been conducted.

What will the selected company receive at the end of the work period?

 

 

 Results vary, depending on the complexity of the project, as well as the availability of time and resources of the selected company.
